My name is Jonathan Young and I have been a licensed Public Insurance Adjuster in the state of Florida since 2018. I have lived in Florida my entire life and have been in Orlando for 10 years. I have a background in construction and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida – GO KNIGHTS!

What is a public adjuster?

A public adjuster is an insurance professional that a policyholder may hire to help settle an insurance claim on his or her behalf. A Public Adjuster will:
Assess your policy to get the maximum claim coverage.
Assess and document your damage, accurately, and swiftly as possible.
Submit to your insurance company an exhaustive damage portfolio including a formal demand for payment.
Negotiate with an insurance company for a fair and equitable settlement.

My claim was denied a year ago and I don’t think there is anything I can do now?

Claims can be reopened up to 5 years after they were initially filed.

I already cashed my check even though it was small. I don’t think I can reopen the claim now.

Cashing a check is not an automatic acceptance of settling. A lot of times this is just an undisputed payment and there could be a lot of money left on the table. Claims are never closed unless you signed and notarized a release form.

Does it cost any money to inspect my roof/house?

Our inspections are completely free and If we decide not to go forward there is no charge.
